  Prepare Different Berries

  To maximize your Pokémon GO Fest experience, stock up on different berries. Razz Berries make catches easier, Nanab Berries reduce Pokémon movement, and Pinap Berries provide extra Candy.

  Collect Star Pieces & Lucky Eggs

  Ensure you have a sufficient supply of Star Pieces and Lucky Eggs before the event. They will boost Stardust gains and XP earnings, respectively. You can get them in the in-game shop, through special research tasks or leveling up.

  Stock Up On Puffins

  Puffins are a special snack that can boost your buddy’s conditions and special stats exclusive to Pokémon contests. It's recommended to use a Puffin when trainers intend to play Pokémon GO for more than a few hours. You can purchase Puffins for 100 PokeCoins at the in-game Shop.

  Plan Pokémon Evolutions

  Identify the Pokémon you want to evolve during the event and list their evolution requirements. Prioritize the Pokémon that will benefit the most from the event bonuses, such as increased spawn rates or event-exclusive moves.

  Practice Throw Skills

  Improve your curveball, excellent, great, and nice throw skills to increase your catch rate during the event. Observing the Pokémon's behavior and timing your throw accordingly can improve your chances of a successful catch.

  Practice Powering Up

  Powering up a Pokémon makes it stronger and increases its CP and HP. Practice powering up different Pokémon to complete the research tasks more quickly.
